Star Wars Fan Art — Darth Talon Will Make You Tremble

Darth Talon for those who don't track all the details of the assorted books and comics is a Lethan Twi'lek who became a Sith Lady as part of Darth Krayt's One Sith (so says Wookiepedia). This all happens 100 or so years after the fall of the Emperor so you can safely assume it's not canon any more and ignore it. As shown here in this image by daRoz though she is pretty awe inspiring don't you think? Not someone to mess with unless you have a death wish judging by the look she's giving. Really moody bit of artwork and the skin looks like skin not a costume. Source: Deviantart - …Read more  »

Tank Vader

What do you get if you combine the power of the Force in the form of Darth Vader (or at least his mask) and technological terror in the form of a tank? Well if you also sprinkle some steam punk style onto your Star Wars insanity and you happen to be called Gabriel Dishaw you get Tank Vader...

Star Wars Artwork: Jedi Master

This image by artist  Kaz Omori is one of the best bits of Star Wars inspired art that I've ever seen. While obviously very stylized you can really feel the power of the battle. You should check out Omori's other work as well because there are some great pieces.!some-material/c199t

Star Wars / DC Universe Mash Up

[embed][/embed] This 14 minute section from Return of the Jedi matches up Mark Hamill's Joker to the Emperor and Tom Hardy's Bane as Darth Vader. This teaches us several things: 1) Mark Hamill got a lot better at acting over the years 2) The Emperor would have been much more compelling if he had sounded like the Joker 3) Bane sucks.

Star Wars Cosplay — Darth Malgus

Darth Malgus apparently features in the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic but this bit of cosplay is entirely the work of one (large) man who built the costume for himself and as you can see from the video, it is quite spectacular.Granted the character is a bit of a Darth Vader rip-off but that doesn't in any way diminish the epic scale of this cosplay.

Darth Vader Cupcake At Disney Hollywood Studios

Disney are well known for their Star Wars  Weekends at Hollywood Studios in Disney World. One of the little extras that show up on those weekends is this delicious looking cupcake featuring Darth Vader and a red lightsaber. Like all Disney food it's not precisely cheap ($4.99) but it does look tempting. If you happen to be there between May 17th and June 9th you can order this at various locations in Hollywood Sudios (ABC Commissary, Pizza Planet, Backlot Express, Studio Catering Company, Starring Rolls, Rosie’s All-American Cafe and Fairfax Faire)
