Vide Cor Meum (the name that Lydy has given this piece) is the name of a song that first appeared in the movie Hannibal (2001) and was used again in the season finale of the tv series Hannibal. Yes I know I referenced Silence of the Lambs in my title.
The image which contains chianti, fava beans and that iconic mask that Hannibal was made to wear in Silence of the Lambs of course echos the line from that movie. But the imagery is also used in the tv show.
A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice Chi-an-ti
