Synopsis Released For Pixar’s Inside Out

pixars inside out has an updated synopsis 600x385 Synopsis Released For Pixars Inside OutI’ve noticed that I’m not as big a Pixar fan as I used to be.Brave and Monster’s University just seemed to lack the Pixar magic for me.It’s not that I’d call them bad movies, but I think the last time Pixar really blew me away was Up.

That being said, I’m not quite sure how I feel about their slate of upcoming movies, starting with Inside Out which comes out next year. The plot synopsis has some potential though:

Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it’s no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith).

The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

So basically for American’s its something similar to Herman’s Head and for Brit’s who read the Beano or Dandy it’s Numskulls. It’s a solid concept for stories with plenty of room for humor. So this could be good. But will it be Pixar?
