Marvel's New Digital Comics Initiative

Have Marvel found a way to bridge the gap between physical and digital comics with their Infinite initiative.

It's certainly more innovative than previous adaptations of paper copies. And by giving free copies of the digital version to people who buy physical comics, it may keep the direct market happy in the short term at least, while getting people used to an inevitable digital future.

    Well he doesn't like Cyclops very much these days.

    Marvel are dropping hints that we may see both Avengers and X-Men taking the wrong side during this.

    I'm okay with gimmicks like this. I have to say that the twitter feeds for the Jean Grey School make me chuckle daily.

    That is a smart idea to give a free digital if you purchase a physical copy. I hope Dark Horse comics will do this too.
