- SF Fanatic: I Am Not A Fan Of Fantasy, Here’s Why – SF Signal
Yesterday Tor.com published a piece by Jo Walton entitled ‘In Sheep’s Clothing: Why Fantasy and SF might be disguised as each other’ where Jo discusses books where fantasy settings have SF-nal underpinnings. Most of the series she discusses I’ve never read and, being fantasy, I’ve never wanted to read. Bingo! The perfect topic for an SF Fanatic like myself, why am I not a fan of fantasy? - What’s happened to Torchwood series 4? – Cult TV News, Reviews, Lists, Comment and Fun -
Den of Geek

- SyFy Channel Announces Upcoming Slate of Original Movies – Film Junk
I[ve got to hand it to the SyFy Channel. Even though they have re-branded themselves so people wouldn't think they were just a bunch of basement-dwelling nerds compared to the other networks, they are still sticking by what sells: the SyFy Channel Original Movie. Initial reaction seems to be largely cautious positivity, mixed with frustration from fans of Simone, along with snark steaming from JMS' reputation from his other conflicted runs. - The Eleventh Hour - first reactions - Blogtor Who
Now that the first episode of the new series has screened, reactions have started to come in for The Eleventh Hour. - Fringe: The Musical? [Fringe] – io9
Will Fringe’s musical episode be called “Once More, On LSD?” No, apparently it’ll be called “Overture.” And you’ll never guess who’s serenading Olivia - Will Ghostbusters 3 Ever Actually Happen? [Ghostbusters] – io9
Original Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman is rumored to be getting forced out of his own franchise, in favor of a younger director. Too bad his contract won’t let Columbia make a new Ghostbusters without his say-so. - Smallville Creators to Direct Existence 2.0 – Film Junk
Based on the Image comic book about a “self-absorbed physicist who finds his consciousness transferred into the body of the hitman who just killed him.”
